Service Description

Neuropsychological evaluations can help inform how brain surgery or other procedures may affect a person's thinking, emotions, or behavior. These evaluations can occur before a procedure. Before a procedure, goals include outlining current cognitive strengths and weaknesses, providing a baseline of brain function, predicting potential changes after surgery, and guiding safe surgical decision-making. These evaluations can also be done after a brain procedure, usually months to a year. At that point, goals include assessing areas of improvement and/or continued deficits, and continuing to guide treatment options. We are currently accepting new patients for pre- and post-surgical neuropsychological evaluations.
