Payment and Insurance

Accepted forms of payment and insurance carriers

Western Behavioral Center accepts payment from all major credit card companies, cash, and personal checks. Additionally, we currently accept several plans from the following insurance companies:

If you have a plan with these carriers, you are responsible for your copays and deductible, when applicable.  If you have an HMO from any of the carriers above, we regret to notify that our services will not be covered, and you will need to pay directly for services, as we are currently not taking HMO plans. We are  not accepting other insurance carriers at this time.

After completion of an ''out-of-network'' service, we may provide you with a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance carrier for potential reimbursement. We cannot guarantee your insurance carrier will reimburse you in these instances.  Nevertheless, clients are often reimbursed 50-90% of service fees submitted through superbills.  To find out how much your plan will cover, check your plan's "outpatient mental health" benefits.  For detailed information about the cost of services at our practices, visit our Services list in our home page.

If you do not have the insurance carriers above and are unsure whether your plan would cover services with us, we recommend that you give your insurance company a call and ask the following questions:

  1. Do I have out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits?

  2. What is my deductible and has it been met?

  3.  How many sessions per year (in the case of psychotherapy) does my insurance cover?

  4. Does my insurance cover out-of-network psychological or neuropsychological testing?

  5. What is the covered amount per session (for therapy) or for testing?

  6. Is approval required from my primary care physician?
