Do you accept insurance?

Do I need a referral to receive services?

We currently accept self-referred patients, as well as patients who have been referred by another provider (such as a primary care provider or PCP). However, you should verify with your insurance company, as some plans require prior referral from a PCP for specialized care, such as mental health care.

A neuropsychological evaluation is a comprehensive assessment of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning, often used to diagnose conditions such as ADHD, learning disabilities, memory disorders, and various neurologic disorders.

What does neuropsychological testing consist of?

A neuropsychological evaluation typically begins with a clinical interview, followed by a variety of tests measuring different aspects of cognition. These tests can be pencil-and-paper tests, tests that are administered orally, and/or computerized tests. A feedback session is then scheduled at a later date, in-person or through telehealth, to discuss evaluation results. A final report is generated summarizing your relevant clinical history, testing results, diagnoses (if pertinent), and treatment recommendations.

How long does a neuropsychological evaluation take?

Most neuropsychological evaluations can be completed within 3 to 4 hours, in one session. Some evaluations, depending on your specific condition and concerns, may take longer (upward of 5-6 hours) and may be split in more than one session.

Most of our clients attend psychotherapy weekly or once every other week. Clients and therapists often collaboratively decide on frequency based on several factors including client's needs and goals, level of severity of presenting complaints, and level of support needed.
